The Rhythm Of life Is A Wonderful Beat

O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the works Thy hand hath made,

I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder,

Thy power throughout the universe displayed:

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

When through the woods and forest glades I wander

And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;

When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,

And hear the brook, and feel the gentle breeze:

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

And when I think that God His Son not sparing,

Sent Him to die - I scarce can take it in,

That on the cross my burden gladly bearing,

He bled and died to take away my sin:

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation

And take me home - what joy shall fill my heart!

Then shall I bow in humble adoration

And there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

It would seem that spring has come to your corner of paradise.
and has given you an abundance
filled with blessings.
Lovely photo's as always.

Truly beautiful post! I almost can't believe there are so many tadpoles - they'll make quite an army of frogs!

Hi Wildie! Thanks for a lovely colorful post. I enjoyed seeing everything in bloom and the various critters as well (hello, Taz!). I love the texture of the little birch leaves! Happy spring!

Welcome to our little corner of paradise, Everyone :) I feel so humbled to have you all arrive so quickly. I only finished to post a few minutes ago :)

* It's always a pleasure to share the garden and its delights, Sorrow...and, you are right, I do feel blessed to be living in such a paradise :)

* The ponds are teeming with tadpoles, Kitty...but, the newts and the great diving beetles are busy dining upon them at the moment. Let's hope they leave some to mature into adult frogs :)

* Great to see you, Monica :) The garden is truly coming to life each day. Everything is greening up, and the wildlife is burgeoning too :)

Stunning, absolutely stunning. Tulips are my favourite flower of the moment! I have had a lovely display and intend to have more next year too.

Absolutely gorgeous my lovely friend.
I love you
Jeanne

* How wonderful to see you again, dear Libby :)

I love tulips too. These ones are all in humble large black plastic pots...but the tulips did well in them. I can't say the same for the ones I planted at the back of the house though, as the Winter frost has stunted the growth in several of the pots. I will transplant these ones to the garden later in the year and plant up new bulbs in the Autumn for next year :)

* Thank you for stopping by, dear Jeanne, and for all your positive comments :)

You took me back to my convent school days-we sang that hymn every week or two at mass.
Love the orange blooms and all the pics of barleycorn.

Good morning to you all, on this beautiful Spring day at Barleycorn :)

* So lovely to have your company, Marie. Glad you liked the post..and thank you for the lovely compliments :)

* Spring is bustin' out all over, Kate. Great to see you again :)

* Our first swallow arrived yesterday, Swallowtail...must have known you were coming to visit me :)

I love that hymn. It sings out so powerfully and epitomises the garden at this time of year :)

* It seems so strange that you are moving into Autumn as we are into Spring, Bimbimbie, but wonderful (via computer blogging), to see the difference in Nature happening around the globe :)

* I am so happy to have your company in the garden, Nicole :)

The hymn expresses what I want to sing about the beauty of Nature all around me :)

How beautiful to match the photos with the lyrics. Your kitty-on-the-path photo is sweet.

I love your entry title, since "The Rhythm of Life" is one of my favorite songs that I sang at university...

"Oh the rhythm of life is a powerful beat,
Puts a tingle in your fingers and a tingle in your feet,
Rhythm on the inside, rhythm on the street,
the rhythm of life is a powerful beat."
Cheers!

* Great to have your company, Duxbury Ramblers :)

I agree with your choice of hymn...I used it in an earlier post...we think alike, we Nature Lovers :)

* I was originally going to use that song, Dawn...but the only words which fitted the photos were the ones of the chorus...so, I borrowed the title instead :)

Lovely to meet with you once more. Glad you liked Taz...he follows me around the garden while I'm working :)

Oh I've missed a couple of your posts. I'm going to have to catch up. I just love this one. The photos are spectacular. I'm going back to click on what I think are drumstick primulas?? They are beauties. and look at all the tadpoles! I've been wondering about them. I installed a teeny pond in my garden ~ wonder if I'll get any tadpoles?? I sure hope so. Good to "see" you again Wildlife Gardener.

What a lovely posting and a beautiful hymn to fit some gorgeous photos - words and photos says it all!

Hope all's well with you - sorry it's been a while but it's a busy gardening time of year as I'm sure it is with you! Take care Miranda

* Always a pleasure to have your company, Kathleen :)

Thank you for the lovely comments. I have only managed to post about once a month recently...so, people are finding it difficult to keep up with me when I do...but I understand why.

Good luck with your new pond. It will repay you with hours of pleasure :)

It's me again Wildlife Gardener. I just wanted to come back and thank you for the excellent advice you left me about oxygenators for my pond. I AM having an algae problem so I know I need to address it. Thanks for taking the time to leave such a nice comment. No matter what the trouble will be in getting the pond set up, I know I won't regret it. :-) Thanks again!
